Each week, the Capeless Crew picks out those books that we think are most worthy of your dollars and attention. Without further ado, here are this week’s picks!
“GREEN HORNET#1″
Mark Waid has long been a shining star of the comics industry, but recently has seen his career rocket to new heights. Having revitalized Daredevil for Marvel and coming off an astonishing run on “Rocketeer: Cargo of Doom” for IDW, Waid now takes his turn with one of the great American pulp heroes.

“FATALE #13
One does not simply “jump on” to Fatale.
This is one of those rare serial titles that absolutely insists that you re-familiarize yourself with it’s incredibly deep story each month before picking up the latest issue. Luckily, Image has done an excellent job keeping the trades coming out, so catching up should not be difficult. This is easily one of the most well-crafted independent books on the market, and Capeless’ Jeff Hayes calls this month’s issue a study in people who are “are lost, or damaged, looking for something to believe in”. Check out his advance review here!

“EAST OF WEST #1″
This dark tale of an alternate United States of the near future is the latest mad scribbling to emerge from the brain of rising superstar Jonathan Hickman. Despite the constraints of managing the Avengers’ corner of the Marvel universe, Hickman manages to put forth a story that is both instantly intriguing and possessed of a dark, brutal sensibility. This is one book that is sure to be on everyone’s lips..
